Who is who at Lynwood Senior High School?

Your Principal is responsible for the entire school community. He is responsible for improving learning outcomes for all students, supervising teachers and other staff members, as well as managing the major administrative tasks, such as setting the long-term direction of the school and developing school policies. At LSHS the Principal is Mr Andrew Jack.


The Deputy Principal helps the Principal with all of the different tasks involved in running a school and looking after the wellbeing of teachers, support staff, parents and students. At LSHS we have 3 Deputy Principals who each look after different year groups. Your Deputy Principal is Mrs Catherine Baron.


The other two Deputy Principals are Mrs Michele Walker and Mrs Joanne Willesee.



Your TAG Teacher is a teacher you will see every day except Wednesday. He/ she keeps an eye on your attendance, is a good person to talk to if you are unsure about something and we try to keep the same TAG teacher from year 7-12. You will find out who your TAG teacher on the first day of school.

Now you are in high school you’re likely to have more than one teacher teaching you different subjects. Each of your subject teachers has specialist knowledge about their subject and is willing to help you understand specific things if you’re struggling. By the end of the first week you would have meet all your subject teachers.

A Year Coordinator is your go-to person if you’re having trouble balancing all the school work you need to do, or if you’re having an issue with a particular subject that you haven’t been able to resolve or you are experiencing problems with fellow students. Your Year Coordinator can advise you on strategies that might help. Your Year Coordinator is Mrs Natalie Narducci and you will meet your Year Coordinator on your orientation day. At LSHS we aim to have the same Year Coordinator from year 7-12.

At LSHS we have three Heads of School, 2 heads of lowers school and 1 head of upper school. Your head of Lower School is Mr Eric Bani.

Our Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer is Wayne McNamara. He provides support for student sand their family as well as Aboriginal curriculum Support.

Our Learning Support Coordinator is Mrs Joyce Micheal. Her role is to help you achieve your best if you need extra support at school. She also coordinates the Educational Assistants and the School Volunteer Program.


Our School Psychologist is Mrs Mary Fraser and her job is to provide guidance and support for both home and school issues. She also can help families to get extra support when needed.


Our School Chaplain can provide a friendly face and support when you need to talk about problems at home or at school. At LSHS our School Chaplain is Loretto Bennetts. You do not have to share their beliefs or faith to get support or help.
