Lynwood Senior High School Library Resource Centre

Our School Library aims to prepare students for the complex information and technological world beyond school and to use it effectively.

Our library dynamically responds to the needs of our school community, providing resources, services, teaching programmes and educational displays.

Library hours

Before school from 8.15am

Recess 1 and 2

After school – Homework Club until 4.00pm (except Wednesday)


Years 7-10 – 4 books for 2 weeks

Years 11-12 – 6 books for 2 weeks

Library Cards

Each Year 7 and Year 11 student receives a new Smart-Rider card. This card must be presented at the circulation desk when borrowing resources or to use the library computers. Replacement cards are $5.00 and may be purchased through the library.


Printing and photocopying are available in the library. Students can increase their printer credit at the library front desk.

School Uniform Bank

Students who are not wearing school uniform, may borrow school uniforms on a short-term basis. School uniforms are also loaned out for school assemblies, debating teams and out of school excursions.
