Lynwood Senior High School offers Year 11 and 12 students the opportunity to enrol in a program with Sports Education Development Australia (‘SEDA’), a leader in Australia for hands-on sports education.

SEDA partners with peak industry organisations such as Netball WA, West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers Football Club and others to provide students with unique opportunities and experiences specific to their interests. SEDA students will receive a tailored career plan to develop key employability and life skills for a successful future.

SEDA focuses on a student’s passion for sport and strives to bring out the best in them through an applied learning approach. There are four key areas defining this approach:

  • An individual plan for each student through the ‘one teacher’ to ‘one class’ model
  • Learning directly from industry experts
  • Getting outside of the classroom and learning by ‘doing’
  • Placing equal importance upon the development of key skills and personal attributes and upon academic outcomes.

Please contact the Deputy Principal, Senior School for assistance with SEDA program enrolments. Telephone 9354 0600.
